Gerald Cohen, MD, FACC
Gerald Cohen, MD, FACC is a bariatrician and cardiologist specializing in the treatment of obesity. He completed his medical training at McGill University in Montreal and at the Ottawa Heart Institute and worked at the Cleveland Clinic. He directs non-invasive cardiology and cardiac rehabilitation at St. John Hospital and Medical Center, and is Clinical Professor of Medicine at Wayne State University. Dr. Cohen is actively involved in clinical research related to atherosclerosis and obesity. He recently earned national top honors on the American Board of Bariataric Certification examination. Dr. Cohen is a Diplomat of the American Board of Bariatric Medicine.
